Getting Ready for First Friday

Sean and I were asked to show our art in a gallery during Downtown Phoenix First Friday Art Walk. We have been talking about doing this for a long time and just never really got it together enough to actually make it happen. We definitely jumped at the chance to do it this time around, but I have to say it has been super stressful. We only had about a two weeks notice to pull everything together and we have been working non-stop to make sure we give it all we have. Nothing could be worse than putting up a show you’re not proud of. We will be showing 17 individual pieces. Some are pieces that were already done and hanging in our house (or my mom’s) and all of the others are brand new. Tons of our friends and family are planning on making it out to support us. If you’re in the Phoenix area, please join us. Here are the details.

Friday, April 1 · 6:00pm – 10:00pm

Roosevelt and 2nd Avenue

812 2nd Avenue
Phoenix, AZ

If you have never been to First Friday before, this would be a great month to check it out.

  2. Maybe the mister and I will make it over there! We’ve never been to a first Friday but I definitely have to check our schedule before I make any promises! Hopefully we’ll see you! =)
